The Official “Log Off” Protest F.A.Q!

The “Log Off” protest is in response to the recent NSFW ban announced by Tumblr. The ban flags all content the filtering system detects as NSFW, reducing visibility to the community. The system has proven time and time again that is inefficient, oftentimes flagging SFW material as NSFW.

This SFW material includes art, memes and so on. This ban directly hurts the community and will not solve the actual problems at hand due to the poor flagging system. Because of this, the entire community will suffer.

So to respond, I propose that every user on Tumblr logs off of Tumblr for 24 hours on December 17th at 12 am EST.

Times are listed above depending on timezone!

This post responds to some very common questions about the protest. So make sure to read it over!

Since Dracula was in this past live show, we now know that all the live shows are happening in relative chronological order, which means that characters like Angus are getting older. But that also means that our main trio are getting older. So Magnus, Taako, And Merle continue having adventures as Griffin establishes over the years that time really is passing for them. Taako gets married. A live show takes place at Mavis’s graduation. And Magnus—

It’s the last Taz Balance live show, one of the other arcs going to take its place. We’re almost caught up to the last canonical scene in balance. Merle And Taako are rushing to kill that bastard Kalen, a task they’ve kept putting off until now. Griffin says this is their last chance to fulfill their promises to Magnus. Travis plays Kalen. The show is hilarious and heart warming. And at the end, Taako and Merle rush to join everyone else at the Burnsides house, declaring to Magnus that they’ve kept their promise, even if they left it to the last minute.

And griffin says, “how does Magnus die?”

And there. We’re all caught up now.

Historically, there are major four groups that have commonly been described as “adventurers”:

a. Pirates and bandits who realised that the real money lay in getting people to pay them to go pillage someone else;

b. Members of the idle rich who wandered about robbing tombs and subjugating the locals for fun rather than for profit, often distinguishable from the first group only by the presence of a “Sir” before their names;

c. People who just wanted to look at birds, but it sort of got out of hand; and

d. Lesbians.

Now, I’m not saying that this taxonomy would make a reasonable basis for a class system in a tabletop roleplaying game, but I’m not not saying it either.

D&D but your only class choices are Pirate, The Idle Rich, Birdwatcher, and Lesbian.

@probablybadrpgideas

I am 100% sure someone came up with a pirate class
I am definitely gonna do the bourgeoisi class someday
Birdwatcher could be a weak druid
Lesbian pride day is today, granting them incredible powers

I am also a 100% sure that someday my weakness of reblogging to the wrong blog will go away, but today is not the day
